# Connect Perplexity

> Add Travelyfe to Perplexity so it can plan and save itineraries for you.

Perplexity connects to Travelyfe as a **remote custom connector**. See [Connect An Assistant](https://docs.ahmedmediagroup.com/en/connect-an-assistant) for what that allows.

## Before You Start

- **Plan.** Custom connectors are available on Pro, Max and Enterprise. In an Enterprise organisation, members can add their own only if an admin has turned on **Allow members to add custom connectors**.
- **Where.** Set it up in your account settings at [perplexity.ai](https://www.perplexity.ai). Perplexity doesn't say whether its mobile apps can add custom connectors, so use the web.

## Connect

1. Open **Account settings > Connectors**.

2. Choose **+ Custom connector** in the top-right corner, then choose **Remote**.

3. Fill in the form:

| **Name** | `Travelyfe` |
| **MCP Server URL** | `https://api.travelyfe.com/mcp` |
| **Authentication** | **OAuth** |
| **Transport** | **Streamable HTTP** |

Leave the client ID and secret empty.

4. Tick the box to confirm you understand the risks of custom connectors, then choose **Add**.

5. Choose the Travelyfe card in **Connectors**. A Travelyfe sign-in page opens: sign in and approve access.

## Use It

Make sure Travelyfe is turned on among your connectors, then ask, for example: *Find me a published itinerary for Kyoto and save a copy of the plan to Travelyfe.*

Anything Perplexity creates is saved to your account as a private itinerary.

## Disconnect

In Perplexity, open **Account settings > Connectors**, choose **⋮** on the Travelyfe card and remove it. Then, in Travelyfe, open **Account > Settings > Integrations** and disconnect Perplexity.

## If It Doesn't Work

- **Perplexity asks you to sign in again.** Choose the Travelyfe card in **Connectors** and sign in.
- **You can't add a custom connector.** Check your plan. In an Enterprise organisation, ask an admin to allow it.
- **Travelyfe isn't used in your answer.** Make sure it is turned on among your connectors.
